Responsibilities

In your position as VP of Sales, you will be expected to perform various duties including but not limited to the following:

Execute on strategies and sell Professional Services for the overall effectiveness of company and our clients.

NearShore Technology has been in business for 6 years and is early stage growth company with 240 employees. We have over exceeded our goals year over year and we are looking for a VP of Sales that can continue the growth into the next 10 years.

The Vice President of Sales is responsible for establishing the sales targets (approved by President & CEO) to meet the company sales and revenue objectives. Vice President of Sales will carry a personal quota.

VP Sales – Responsibilities:

  • Creates plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales and revenue goals
  • Create a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement – focus on customer and employee culture is paramount
  • Implementation and execution of personal sales – one to one.
  • Meet and exceed sales quota quarter over quarter.
  • Comfortable and can demonstrate successful sales of over 10M annually
  • Ensures communications are coordinated, supports sales plan objectives and meets organizational expenditure requirements in conjunction with marketing.
  • Recommends sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analyses.
  • Fill pipeline and close deals on a regular basis
  • Understands and practices value vs. cost selling
  • Ability to manage Proposals and RFP responses
  • Ability to manage multiple channel selling strategies.
  • Manage sales teams and influence marketing and other resources to deliver profitable growth
  • Manage budget process for sales
  • Define optimal sales force structure
  • Hire, train and develop sales staff when necessary
  • Become known as an employer of choice and a sales force that top sales people want to join
  • Define and oversee sales staff compensation and incentive programs that motivate the sales team to achieve their sales targets
  • Define and coordinate sales training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives
  • Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Understands and follows a defined Sales Process
  • Refine NearShore Technology sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements where and when required
  • Put in place infrastructure and systems to support the success of the sales function
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting
  • Compile information and data related to customer and prospect interactions
  • Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other company functions
  • Work closely with the marketing function to establish successful support, channel and partner programs
  • Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities
  • Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners to develop key relationships

These responsibilities involve achieving the following tasks:

  • Team Development and Leadership
  • Reports to President & CEO.
  • Act as the liaison between the customer and company.
  • Other Duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in Spanish is a plus but not required

Education

  • Requires a bachelor's or Master’s degree
  • Sales, Leadership and management training a plus

Experience

  • 15 plus years of working experience in software or IT Services Selling background that has at least 500 degreed professionals working for it.
  • Sales experience with large cap (fortune 1000) software or services provider

Location

  • United States, Atlanta or Tennessee preferred
