gabriel j. apodaca

President & CEO

Mr. Apodaca is President and Chief Executive Officer of NearShore Technology Company and a Director of Goods & Services. Mr. Apodaca has over 25 years of experience in developing, managing and marketing products and services for start-ups and Fortune 500 Companies.

Mr. Apodaca was previously an Executive Vice President for a leading technology company with offices in the United States and Mexico. Prior to moving into technology outsourcing, Mr. Apodaca was a Senior Manager in KPMG’s Information, Communication and Entertainment (ICE) practice. Mr. Apodaca began his career at Oracle Corporation where was a Senior Director responsible for three development and implementation practices and ran the Southwest and Pacific Rim Regions.

Mr. Apodaca received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from National University.

yancy w. riddle

Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Riddle is the Chief Operating Officer of NearShore Technology Company and responsible for all international operations. Mr. Riddle previously was the President and CEO of Sixth Sense, a medical technology integration provider.

Mr. Riddle has built his career on rigorous educational training and 20 years of manufacturing experience in the U.S., North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America. Mr. Riddle brings to NearShore both breadth and depth of experience from the medical device, aerospace, electrical components, automotive, primary materials, military, oil and gas, coating services, and the solar/LED fields.

Mr. Riddle was inducted into the Academy of Distinguished Engineering Alumni of Georgia Tech, and Georgia Tech’s Council of Outstanding Young Engineering Alumni for significant contributions to technology and society. Mr. Riddle’s received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University, and received his Master of Science and Ph.D. in Materials Science from Georgia Tech.

brian m. peterson

Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Peterson is the Chief Technology Officer of NearShore Technology Company and is responsible for technology strategy and developing solutions for our clients.

Mr. Peterson previously was the Chief Technology Officer for Cloudswell, a cloud-based application development and innovation management firm. Prior to Cloudswell, he was the Chief Experience Officer at TransCard, an innovative payment solutions firm that is a member of all major debit card networks.

Mr. Peterson began his career with Ernst & Young and spent the early years of his career working for Fortune 500 Companies including Eli Lilly and Company, Dow Agro Science, and Pearson.

Mr. Peterson received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Purdue University.

sheri s. apodaca

Chief Administrative Officer

Ms. Apodaca is the Chief Administrative Officer of NearShore Technology where she is responsible for Human Resources and Finance. Ms. Apodaca spent the first 10 years of her career managing international development projects for large multinational firms. Prior to joining NearShore, she managed client relations and human resources for a technology company with offices in the United States and Mexico.

Ms. Apodaca received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from the University of North Texas.

rory a. brown

Chairman of the Board

Mr. Brown is a Managing Partner of Nicklaus Brown & Co., the Chairman of Goods & Services and Nearshore Technology Company, and a Director of Desano.

Mr. Brown has focused on financial technology and investment management over the course of his career. He was a Founder and Chairman of one of the first Internet Banks, a Founder and Chairman of a $50 billion investment management platform, and the Chairman of a Registered Investment Advisor focused on high net worth individuals and families. Mr. Brown was named Financial Services Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young.

Mr. Brown received a Master of Business Administration from the University of Charleston, SC and is a Certified Public Accountant.

gary t. nicklaus


Mr. Nicklaus is a Managing Partner of Nicklaus Brown & Co., the Chairman of Camden Capital, and a Director of Goods & Services and Nearshore Technology Company. He is Co-Chairman of the Children’s Healthcare Charity, Inc. a non-profit organization which manages the operations of the Honda Classic and is the primary beneficiary of the tournament. The Honda Classic is a top event on the PGA Tour and has been voted the premier sporting event in Palm Beach County, Florida.

Mr. Nicklaus was appointed to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission by Governor Rick L. Scott. The Florida Constitution authorizes the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission to enact rules and regulations regarding the state’s fish and wildlife resources.

Mr. Nicklaus played golf professionally on the PGA Tour and European Tours and has designed golf courses throughout the United States, Mexico, Spain, and the United Kingdom.

Mr. Nicklaus received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from The Ohio State University where he was an All-American in golf.

john r. purcell


Mr. Purcell is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Grenadier Associates Ltd., and serves as a Director of NearShore Technology Company, and of Omnicom Group where he serves as Chairman of the Governance Committee and is a member of the Finance and Executive Committees.

Mr. Purcell formerly served as Chief Executive Officer of SFN Cos. Inc., Executive Vice President and COO of CBS, Inc., Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Gannett Co., Inc. and as Chairman of Donnelley Marketing, Inc.

Mr. Purcell received a Doctorate in Law from the University of Virginia.

david w. willoughby


Mr. Willoughby is a Vice President at Pure Storage, Inc., the leader in all-flash enterprise data storage technology, where he monitors enterprise risk, governance and controls over financial reporting, operations, and compliance. Prior to joining Pure Storage, Mr. Willoughby was a Senior Director at Visa where he was responsible for Risk Management.

Mr. Willoughby began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers where he spent 20 years providing financial audit, tax, and risk advisory services. He has served companies in the retail, manufacturing, professional services, and technology industries in Silicon Valley, the greater San Francisco Bay Area, and internationally.

Mr. Willoughby received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from San Francisco State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
