Mary Z. McEneaney Joins NearShore Technology

Mary Z. McEneaneyMary Z. McEneaney joins NearShore Technology as the Vice President of Corporate Development, after almost 18 years at the Georgia Institute of Technology, with the last fourteen years as the Director of Development in the School of Materials Science and Engineering. As Director, her role included fundraising and liaising between the Institute, alumni, and other constituents. She played a key role in the establishment of two multi-disciplinary Centers of Excellence and personally raised more than $22 Million in support of Georgia Tech.

Before Georgia Tech, Mary was the Director of Special Events with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, where she led dozens of volunteers to successfully raise funds through four annual black-tie events. Previously, she worked with the American Cancer Society, raising funds and handling publicity for both the Tour d'Town cycling event, which she also chaired for 5 years, and the Relay For Life.

During her tenure in Materials Science and Engineering, Mary worked closely with NearShore Technology's COO, Yancy Riddle, a two-time alumnus of the Georgia Institute of Technology. Beginning early in NearShore's history, she and Yancy partnered to build a strong relationship between NearShore and

Georgia Tech. Making quick headway in the College of Computing, the School of Modern Languages, the Scheller College of Business, and establishing relationships with Biomedical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Materials Science and Engineering.

"When I began to think about retiring from Georgia Tech, I knew I still wanted to do something meaningful and rewarding, but also have fun. Having worked for so many years with Yancy, and having met both Gabriel and Sheri, I knew NearShore's values dovetailed with my own. I'm a strong believer in adding value, whether to individuals, to my community, or to society in general.

As Vice President of Corporate Development, Mary will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and managing new business opportunities, continuing to further our fusion of academia with NearShore's new and existing clients

to provide commercialization opportunities and further enhance the business.

Mary has a BA in Psychology and is now enjoying immersing herself in the technical world of data science and machine learning.
