The Senior Engineer, Quality Engineering creates automated tests for any of the products within the project. This position collaborates with Agile development teams and internal Quality Engineering team to troubleshoot, debug, and deliver products that meet quality excellence standards and directly contributes to maintaining the efficiency of the project’s quality program.


  • Plan, develop, and execute automated tests across a variety of architectures and cutting-edge technologies daily. This includes completing visual, front-end, and back-end testing within development tools and consistently applying software engineering concepts while testing.
  • Complete visual, front-end, and back-end testing within development tools.
  • Participate in continuous testing pipeline triage rotation and ensure any pipeline failures are triaged in a timely manner.
  • Setup and maintain test environments.
  • Participate in test strategy discussion.
  • Develop flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to identify requirements and solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and debug automated test failures.
  • Write automated tests and implement mocking/stubbing services for sprint activities in collaboration with the development team.
  • Contribute to identifying and revising test automation approaches.
  • Implement mocking/stubbing services for sprint activities.
  • Maintain knowledge of current testing approaches, tools and technologies.
  • Maintain effective constant communication with the team and provide daily updates on working completion against deadlines.
  • Other job duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s in Software Engineering or equivalent experience in Software Development.
  • 1 year of experience as a Software Engineer.
  • 1-2 years of experience in testing solution technologies and developing tests for applications or APIs.
  • 1 year of experience using Git, GitHub, Gitlab to manage code.
  • 1 year of experience with JIRA or similar ticket tracking systems.
  • Experience with Confluence or similar collaboration systems.
  • 1-2 years of experience in at least one programming language.
  • Knowledge of software quality, testing methodologies, and test automation tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills applied to story pointing/estimation, defects reported, test results and status.
  • Ability to leverage analytical skills and available resources to resolve complex issues.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and prioritize accordingly.
Nice to have
  • Experience with Linux systems administration.
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, and Concourse.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, Docker and Kubernetes on Amazon Web Services or similar cloud infrastructure systems.
